What is AIEEE?
All India Engineering Entrance Examination is the entrance
examination which is held every year for the admission of
students in Engineering and Architecture/Planning programmes
in various institutions and Deemed Universities all over India
. The states/institutes which consider AIEEE are West Bengal
, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttranchal, Punjab University
, Chandigarh , Punjab Engineering College , Chandigarh , Thapur
Institue of Engineering and Technology, Patiala, Dhirubhai
Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology,
Gandhinagar, Army Institute of Technology, Pune.
Eligibility
The minimum academic qualification for admission through
AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII)
or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination.
Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination
may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional
admission.
Examination pattern
Entrance examination would consist of two papers i.e. 1st
paper consisting of three parts of Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics of equal weightage with objective type questions
for BE/B.Tech courses and 2nd paper – consisting of
Mathematics and Aptitude Test for B. Architecture and B. Planning.
The Aptitude Test is designed to evaluate candidate's perception,
imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness.
