3. Form Requirements:

Form 157a and supplementary questionnaire to form 157a (In this form you have to fill personal Information, Family Information, Financial Information and other general Information)
Form 1221 is used by the department's officers to obtain further personal information about an applicant where required. Please disregard any 'profiles' that you may have initiated relating to form 1221 as the form can and is requested on an ad hoc basis regardless of an applicant's age, nationality or any other characteristic at any stage of an application.

Agent Declaration Form
Copy of the valid IELTS results undertaken prior to the lodgement of the application.

6. Financial Requirements:

Vocation Education & Training:
Course fees, including ELICOS, bridging or foundation + living + travel (up to 3 years max)
Eligible sponsors' financial statements min. balance held for 6 months, OR commercial loan dedicated to education, collateral for loan and consistency with annual income shown.

Higher Education (including Masters by coursework):
Course fees, including ELICOS, bridging or foundation + living + travel (up to 2 years max)
Eligible sponsors' financial statements min. balance held for 3 months OR commercial loan dedicated to education, collateral for loan and consistency with annual income shown.

Master by Research & Doctorate:
Course fees, including ELICOS, bridging or foundation + living + travel (up to 1 years max)
Eligible sponsors' financial statements - current min. balance OR commercial loan dedicated to education, collateral for loan and consistency with annual income shown.

The applicant must provide at least one of the following:
Relevant bank account statements (and tax returns, if applicable) held by the applicant, or an acceptable individual providing financial support to them, for the last 3-6 months prior to visa application(depending on subclass);
Evidence of a loan from a financial institution made to (and held in the name of) the applicant, or an acceptable individual providing financial support to them;
Evidence of a loan from the government of the applicant's home country;
Evidence of financial support from the Commonwealth Government, or the government of a State or Territory;
Evidence of financial support from the applicant's Australian education provider, including the amount of financial support being provided;
Evidence of financial support from the applicant's employer indicating the level of support being provided and details of the applicant's background, role within the corporation and employment training or retraining needs. Financial support from an employer will only be acceptable if the company has been verified by a DIAC office to be operating in the international arena;
Evidence of financial support from the government of a foreign country, or a provincial or state government of a foreign country that has the written support of the national government of that foreign country, including the amount of financial support being provided;
Evidence of financial support from an organisation gazetted by the Minister or a multilateral agency, including the amount of financial support being provided.
