Geography is the study of the Earth and its features and of the distribution of life on the earth, including human life and the effects of human activity. Geography research addresses both the questions of where , as well as why phenomena occurs in particular places

Eligibility

Minimum eligibility for the Undergraduate course in this field is a pass in 10+2/equivalent examinations and for the post graduate course in this field is a pass in corresponding undergraduate course.

Job Prospects

Geography graduates will have a better chance finding work as an urban and land use planner or as a mapping and related technologist in the business services industry or in local governments. They may find more opportunities as a secondary school teacher
