Pharmaceutical Engineering

Introduction

Pharamaceutical Engineering(Pharmacology) is the study of how chemical substances interact with living systems. If substances have medicinal properties, they are considered pharmaceuticals . The field encompasses drug composition and properties, interactions, toxicology, therapy, and medical applications and antipathogenic capabilities.
Pharmacology as a science is practiced by pharmacologists. Subdisciplines are clinical pharmacology (the medical field of medication effects on humans), neuro- and psychopharmacology (effects of medication on behavior and nervous system functioning), and theoretical pharmacology .

Eligibility

Those who have passed the plus Two/equivalent examination or three-year diploma holders in any branch of engineering/equivalent examination are eligible for admission.

  As a pharmacologist you will find employment opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, government departments, universities, and research institutes. Within the pharmaceutical industry you might be involved in activities relating to the development, formulation, production, or marketing of new drugs for clinical use. Alternatively, you might find similar employment opportunities within the food and cosmetic industries -indeed, within any industry that requires the assurance that new products are as safe and effective as possible
